Incorporated last March 14, 2008, Colent Diversified Products, Inc. (CDPI) traces its roots from Columbia Enterprises to Colent Enterprise Company (1985-2007), a sole proprietorship turned partnership, eventually evolving into a corporation.
Its original brands and products being imported and distributed were focused on the photographic products in the 80s (such as Sakura/Konica color photographic film, camera & lithographic arts film, Polaroid films & cameras, CEA Swedish x-ray film and ORWO German x-ray film). In the 90s, it diversified into office equipment and other machineries (such as Iwata laminating machines, time recorders, bundy clocks and time stamping machines). In 2006, it further diversified into air ventilation, hygiene products, and others (such as Iwata air coolers, industrial fans & blowers, large diameter ceiling fans, hand dryers, pest control products & etc.).
Through the years, it has constantly evolved to ensure that the products being distributed remain relevant to the target market while being able to sustain its growth in an ever-dynamic and competitive industry.
Pioneering efforts and ideas to bring unique and trendsetting products into the Philippines was the passion of CDPI and is also where IWATA, our brand familiar to the market, originated.
